Name: Link
Canon: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask
Canon Point: Post MM
OU/AU/CRAU/OC: CRAU Wake
Age: 16
World Information: https://zelda-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Hyrule
Personal History: https://zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Hero_of_Time
Personality: This incarnation of Link is above all else, kind. Too nice and a sap, if people were to ask Navi and Tatl. He loves others easily and wants to help those he meets. But, he goes out of his way to help people he meets, even when the world is literally ending. Small problems matter to him just as much as the moon crashing. He's willing to find missing people, deliver a love letter, or play his ocarina to heal someone he's only just met.
Like all incarnations of the Hero, Link is courageous. He is willing to fight for what and who he believes in, even if it means risking his own life.
There is, of course, a fine line between courage and reckless, and sometimes, he slips into the latter. He can be too bold, too quick to jump into the fray. He has the scars to prove it. Wearing an exploding mask or jumping off a roof holding onto the feet of a cucco....he can make questionable choices at times.
Link loves animals, especially his horse Epona. But, he's also fond of cows and cuccos (also known as Hylian Murder Chickens). He wouldn't mind working on a ranch for the rest of his days (which may or may not have something to do with a pretty red haired girl who lives there).
CRAU developments: When Link arrived in Nautilus he was ten years old. He arrived there in the middle of his search for his fairy, Navi. He quickly adjusted to living in a city where one could literally will anything they wanted. He was excited to make new friends and to help whoever he could with his newly found skills.
Being a mostly illiterate child with more weaponry than most people were comfortable with, attracted the attention of a guru/mage named Clef. What started as an attempt at educating Link, ended up in Clef adopting the young hero. While Link was grateful to be wanted, there were some bumps in their relationship of adoptive father/son. Clef had unintentionally hurt Link's feelings about his intelligence and ability to read and write, and eventually Link dug his heels in and refused to further his education. Having saved Hyrule and Termina both by that point, Link desperately wanted some breathing room for an area he could let slide a bit.
The end result was, a hero that is basically literate, but who refuses to read outside of what he absolutely must, and is overly self-conscious about his spelling.
Around the time he was adopted by Clef, Shadow Link arrived in the city. After some initial dishonesty on his true identity on Shadow's part, once the truth was known, Link told Shadow he was like a brother, and viewed the older boy as exactly that. His older brother, as well as future grandchild, and part of his own soul....
In addition to Shadow, his own Princess Zelda arrived. The Zelda from the future where Ganondorf had taken over Hyrule, and had disguised herself and Sheik in order to help him. Link wanted nothing more than for Zelda to be happy and to know that Hyrule was going to be fine. That they were going to succeed.
And that the things that Link went through were not her fault. Not in his eyes.
Eventually, Link, Clef, Shadow, and Zelda all lived together. It wasn't exactly a family. Shadow was attached to Link and Zelda and had a quiet liking for Clef, but, he never agreed to be adopted, being both older and Shadow. The group was more or less bound together because of Link.
Storms (events that changed reality due to chaos) came and went, and Link lived in different lives for a few weeks at a time. A normal high school boy, a wolf, a Pokemon trainer. Sometimes he got to keep souvenirs of these lives. A photo of him and Shadow as identical twins at Prom. A Sylveon from when he was a Pokemon trainer. The ability to transform into a wolf at will.
As Link grew in Nautilus he Ascended twice, eventually becoming an Ashura. He used his increased abilities to help worlds when he could. When all of the Wakened left Nautilus he was fourteen almost fifteen years old, no longer the little boy who arrived looking for his fairy.
Link spent some time on the train before leaving suddenly last month. On the train he reunited with Clef, Shadow, and Zelda. He enjoys missions as much as anyone can enjoy peril and helping others. Upon re-boarding the train he'll be a bit miffed he "slept" through a month, but, will be at least content it wasn't another seven year stint.
Key themes: Courage. Friendship. Love. Loss. (And if you follow this Link's story to the end, to his death and becoming the Hero's Shade...tragedy.)
Main Motivation: Courage and love. Yes, he is brave, but, he loves others and wants to help them.
Skills: Link is the best swordsman in all of Hyrule and he has been since the age of ten.
Music. Link can play the ocarina by ear.
Magic aka "Bending". Due to his status as an Ashura, Link has the ability to "bend" things to his will. This includes changing his own form, and creating items from the ether.
Weaponry skills. In addition to the sword, Link is skilled with bow and arrows, bombs, and boomerang.
Item: Fierce Deity Mask, if possible. https://zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Fierce_Deity_Mask#Majora.27s_Mask
If not, a cucco.

18+? Yep.
Other Character: Nope.
Character
Name: Link (If there happens to be more than one Link, this Link is the Hero of Time.)
Canon: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Canon point: Just when Zelda has revealed herself to be Sheik (and just before Ganondorf kidnaps her.)
Age: Your character's age. Physically: 17. Mentally: Closer to 10-11. He was sealed away for seven years...but to him, it was just an instant.
Canon history:
https://zelda.gamepedia.com/Hero_of_Time
Personality:
Link is kind to a fault and quick to put others' needs before his own. Even those who care about him greatly have called him a "sap" for this trait. He will do anything he can to help, even a total stranger, and doesn't expect a thing in return.
He's also very much a teenage boy. Helikes loves naps, fishing, eating, and likes animals, especially his horse, Epona. He is not going to be the best student unless something really grabs his interest, and will likely sleep through class if teachers aren't on top of him.
Link is the living embodiment of Courage. He feels fear, very much so, but, he goes forward regardless. He knows risks, although, in the heat of the moment, he might not always think things through. Link's smart, but, he's also impulsive, and this can bite him in the rear. He's also lazy if he thinks something truly doesn't matter.
However, he's not lazy when it comes to fighting. And Link has quite the natural talent for physical fights, weapons based or just physical. He is not going to sit and take being picked on--nor is he going to sit idly and let someone else be bullied.
Because he was bullied so much for being different, he's quick to be friendly, and dislikes being totally alone.
Also, given that he was raised by a tree and by other children...(and that he's mentally 10ish) he's a little naive. He is still pretty vague on things like marriage and honestly still doesn't know what an engagement ring is. Link gets pretty flustered by the number of girls who like him, and it's very easy to make him blush.
Always Keep In Mind: Link is courageous, but, not fearless. He is a sweet, wonderful hero, but, he has flaws.

Questions: Write an IC answer to the following questions:
What do you want to study at Diatu Magicademy? I want to learn a protection spell, like the one I knew back home. And so I can fix stuff.
If you knew you could go back to the moment you left, would you leave immediately or continue your studies for a while? Go back. Zelda needs me.
If your enemy was at Diatu Magicademy, how would you react? Fight him. People could get hurt.
When is it acceptable to resolve a dispute by force? To keep other people safe.
What should the supreme goal of any wizard be? Keep people safe.
Special Considerations
Your Special Something: Choose between Secret Knowledge, A Special Connection, A Rare Familiar, or An Item of Power. A Special Connection.
Rank Your House Choice: Select your first, second, and third preferences for House placement: Random
Powers: Link would be very happy to regain his Ocarina abilities. Namely, the Song of Storms (making it rain).
Items: He'd be very happy to get his horse, Epona back at some point. He would have the Ocarina of Time and Master Sword (nerfed of course) with him.
Anything Else: Thank you for considering Fairy Boy, here.
